RULES
GENERAL INFORMATION
ADMISSION :
Admission to PG is generally announced in the FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY. Two & half YEARS as on 1st July is the age for admission in PG. A corresponding scale of age is fixed for the subsequent classes.
A student joining the school for the first time must produce a satisfactory evidence of his/her date of birth certificate from the Municipal (Nagarpalika or Nagar Nigam) or a Baptismal certificate. Date of Birth once recorded will not be changed.
Generally there is No admission to other classes. However, depending on vacancies that may arise, opportunity may be provided to eligible candidates.
When a student is admitted on a Transfer Certificate, he/ she shall not be placed in any class higher than that for which the certificate shows him/her to be qualified, nor will he/she be promoted before the end of a school year.
A student who does not complete the school calendar year is not eligible for promotion; hence admission will be done accordingly.
No student will be admitted without a Transfer Certificate from the school last attended and in no case shall a student be permitted to attend a class pending formal admission.
Only students from recognised English Medium schools will be considered for admission.
The school leaving certificate of a student joining from a school outside Uttar Pradesh must be countersigned by the Educational Authorities of the District in which the previous school is situated.
In case of re-admission after withdrawal, admission fee will be levied again.
Preference would be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates and the marginalised.
The Principal reserves the right to admit or to refuse admission to anybody without assigning any reason for his action.
WITHDRAWAL
Every application for a school leaving certificate shall be made in writing by the parents/guardian on the prescribed form.
A school leaving certificate will not be issued until all the fees are paid. Those who leave in April will pay the fees for May and June as well.
A fee of Rs. 100/- will be charged for a transfer certificate and this will be issued only three days after the receipt of an application.
The issue of T.C. implies that all dues to and from the school are completely cleared.
One clear calendar month’s notice in writing or a month’s fees in lieu of such notice must be given before a student can be withdrawn.
Students can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds :

Unsatisfactory Progress in Work
Detention or Repeated Detention in a class
GENERAL RULES
All students should be present in school on the opening day of each term.
Irregular attendance, unjustified absence or objectionable moral behaviour justify dismissal. If a student is absent for fifteen consecutive days without an application, or for three days at the beginning of a term, his/her name may be struck off the rolls.
Every absence has to be intimated to the Principal immediately with an application duly signed by the parents. No student who has been absent from school or is late will be admitted into class by the teacher without the signed permission of the Principal.
All students are expected to stand up in silence for the Assembly at the sound of the first bell.Assembly is the most important part of the school day. Every student should be present at it to begin the day with prayer to God and to listen to the announcements and instructions of the principal.
No books, other than the required text books, should be brought to school. No student should bring to the school any objectionable articles, electronic goods, such as camera, tape-recorder, knives,weapons, crackers, mobile, explosives, etc. The offendens are liable to be dismissed or rusticated from the school and the confiscated goods will not be returned. The decision of the school authorities is binding on all.
No student should leave the school premises during class hours without the knowledge and permission of the principal.
Any damage of school property will have to be made good. The decision of the Principal regarding the amount is final.
The school is not responsible for goods lost. Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy watches when coming to school. Students are liable to serious disciplineries action for stealing or damaging the articles of others.
No student suffering from a contagious or infectious disease will be permitted to attend school. After recovery a fitness medical certificate is to be submitted.
During school hours, students are not allowed to receive visitors or make phone calls or to answer a phone call. If the matter is very urgent, the message will be given.
No student should remain in the classroom during P.T. or Games period, unless permitted by the Principal.
Any student desiring to be exempted from P.T. or games must produce a doctor’s certificate to the effect that he/she is physically unfit to take part.
All students should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed. They must come to school in school uniform everyday.
Students must come to class with the lessons well prepared and the home work completed.
The School Diary should be brought to the school daily.
Running, playing and shouting inside the school building is never allowed.
When students move along verandahs to other class rooms, they must walk in silence and in single line. They should always keep to the left as far as possible.
Students should be particularly careful not to throw papers or fruit peels anywhere in the school premises. They should use the bins especially provided for that purpose.
Students are responsible to the school authorities not only for their conduct in school but also for their general behaviour outside. Any reported or observed objectionable conduct out of school shall make them liable to disciplinary action.
Students are not allowed to enter a classroom other than their own.
Articles found in school or on its premises are to be handed over to the office.
Parents send their children to this school so that they may be proficient in both in Hindi and English.In the school premises all are expected to speak only in English.
Students should at all cost avoid writing, carving and scratching on walls and furniture. Such habits are detrimental to good education and a sign of low taste.
Principal’s permission is required :—
to make a collection for any purpose whatever;
to arrange for a party, picnic or meeting;
to join a sports meet or to play a game not arranged by the school;
to give presents to teachers or stage demonstrations in their honour; and
to arrange for private tuition from the school teachers.
WE EXPECT YOU
To be polite, friendly and well-behaved in and outside the school.
To be honest and truthful, whatever may be the cost.
To accept cheerfully every work and responsibility given, and to face difficulties with courage and determination.
To be courteous and sportsman like on the playground with opposing teams and with the officials.
To wish your parents, teachers and elders whenever you meet them.
To respect your own property as well as of the school and also property belonging to others.
To be bold enough to say ‘No’ when asked to do a thing which you know to be wrong.
RECOMMENDATIONS TO PARENTS
The very first condition of admission is that parents/ guardians will comply strictly with the terms and conditions herein stated and pay by the due date the tuition fees and all other charges.
It is the responsibility of the parents to see that their wards reach the school and back home safely.
Parents are requested to enforce regularity and discipline. They will kindly see that their children daily prepare their lessons.
Politeness, courtesy of speech and conduct, cleanliness in dress and person should be inculcated.
Leave for absence may be granted for a sufficient reason, but only on an application from the parent or guardian. This should be made in advance whenever possible.
Any communication (request or complaint) made by a parent should be addressed to the Principal and not to the Class Teacher. When, thus communicating with the Principal, parents are requested to mention in their letter the name and the class with section of their child.
No visitors (parents or others) are allowed to see the students or interview their teachers during class hours.
Parents are also requested not to visit the classes during the class hours. All business will be transacted in the office.
Parents are requested not to call or take their children during class hours except in a case of emergency.
Parents and guardians are required to sign all the reports and to see that their children observe all the rules of the school.
Parents must realise that the parents-teachers meetings are very important and they should attend them regularly.
The Principal reserves the right to impose corrective punishment upon the students, as he may deem necessary.
Students must not keep much cash with them when they come to school. Such a habit is harmful. Please check them for this.
Small children should not be entrusted with payment of fees.
Students should not carry or wear valuable articles including rings and fancy watches when coming to school. Fasionable hair style is not entertained. Keep hair short and simple.
A reasonable good dress like that of the school uniform may be worn on birthdays.
We welcome constructive criticism, we feel happy when parents take interest in the welfare of the institution and give feedback for improvement.
EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION
Examination and tests enable parents to know the progress of their children and pay due attention to their studies at home.
There will be two examinations of the students to register their progress : Half Yearly and Annual.
Besides these terminal examinations, there will be four unit tests, which are compulsory. Any leave application on medical grounds during the examination period has to be submitted before or on the day of the examination. Any such application coming on a later date will not be accepted.
Promotion to the next class will be made on the basis of the average of the marks obtained in Half Yearly, Unit Tests and Annual Examination.

For promotion, a student must obtain pass percentage in atleast five major subjects which must include the subject English.
A student who, for reasons accepted by the principal, is not able to appear for the Half-yearly, has to appear for the Annual and his/her result is based on this examination.
A student who does not appear for Half-yearly as well as Annual examination will not be promoted.
Students whose attendance is below 75% of the working days may not be eligible to appear for the Annual Examination.
A student who gives or obtains unfair assistance at an examination will be debarred for the rest of the examinations and will get a zero in that paper. Such a student may be detained in the same class or dismissed from the school.
A student who fails twice in the same class will be asked to leave the school.
Attendance in all papers, both in Half-yearly and Annual is compulsory in view of rank in the Examination.
Answer books of Half yearly examinations are shown to the students. Answer books of Annual Examinations are not shown. The result declared at the end of the year is final and not subject to reconsideration.
The school does not undertake to retain answer scripts Projects of students for more than 60 days after the results are declared.
A failed student forfeits all claims to concession in school fees.
The decision of the school authorities on results shall be final and in no case shall lie in any court of law in respect of their decision.
During the half yearly examination – evaluation period the entire question paper will be solved by the students in their respective copies.
Passing in Moral Science is compulsory for promotion. 50% of the Moral Science marks are reserved with the Class teachers for behaviour and discipline of the student in the school. Rest, for the performance in the written examination.
LIBRARY RULES
Students should keep in mind that “Reading maketh a full man”. Students should develop the habit of reading books systematically and thoughtfully.
Silence should be maintained in the library except on business with the librarian. This also should be done in a low voice.
Students may borrow one book at a time for a period up to one week from the library. Any book not required by another person may be re-issued for a further week.
Certain books, magazines, etc. are available for reference in the library only. They are not to be taken home.
Books, periodicals, magazines, etc. should be treated with care, both in and out of the library. No writing, ink blots, torn pages, marks and lines in books, are tolerated.
Books are issued on the understanding that they are only to be read by persons to whom they are issued and are not given to others whether of school or to outsiders.
Any student who breaks the above rules will have to pay a fine or cost of the lost and damaged books.
COMPUTER LAB RULES
Take off shoes before entering Computer Lab.
Wipe off feet at doormat before entering the Computer Lab.
Bringing outside Floppy, C.D., Pen Drive is prohibited.
Unless and until needed, do not boot any system in the lab.
Don’t move or shift the V.D.U. from its position.
Always insert the disk properly in the disk drive before closing its drive door.
Do not play with computer peripheral & wires.
Do not scribble on the machine casing, wires and tables.
Do not play with keyboard.
Always come with your group.
Do not bang the key, press them softly.
Always open and close the lab’s door as instructed.
If anyone found misusing or playing with any computer peripherals he/she will be liable to pay a heavy penalty.
Computer Application/Computer Science is one of the subjects available for ICSE and ISC Level on merit/test basis respectively.
SCHOOL FEE
Fees are taken monthly. However, fees for the entire year or for the term may be paid together.
Fees should be paid by the date mentioned on the fee card, a late fee of Rs. 10 per month will be charged.
Students, whose fees are not cleared fully will not be allowed to appear for the examinations.
No exemption or reduction in fees will be made on account of any holiday, late admission, or absence for any cause.
While applying for T. C., Fee Card should be produced.
School fees once paid will not be refunded in any case.
For the loss of the Fee Card Rs. 50/- will be charged.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Parents are requested to send their children to school, tidily dressed, wearing the school uniform. If the children fail to wear the uniform, they will not be allowed to enter their class.

GIRLS : Blue skirts (box pleat in centre) and White shirt, tie, belt, badge, black shoes, black socks and black rubber band / hair band.
BOYS : Blue pant and white shirt, tie, belt, badge, black shoes and black socks.
WINTER :
GIRLS : V-neck pullover/sleeveless sweater with stripes on the boarder with school monogram and Blue Blazer with school monogram. Black shoes and black stockings. Full sleeves shirt, marron scarf.
BOYS : Blue Sweater & Navy Blue Blazer with school monogram, gray cap.
HOUSE SYSTEM
There are (4) houses in School- Red, Green, Blue and Yellow. Each student, on admission, is placed inone of these houses.
Each House is headed by one boy and one girl known as House Captain. A member of the staff assisted by several other teachers help the House Master. Points are awarded to student throughout the year for co-curricular activities, games and sports. At the end of the year the House gaining the highest number of points is awarded the best House Trophy.
Every outstanding student is given a certificate.
